Let's talk location

Perisher snow accommodation.

We are located in a quiet but central on snow ski out position with panoramic breathtaking views.

In winter: it's less than a 2 minute downhill ski to the Perisher Centre Footbridge. Marked cross country and snow shoes trails are behind our lodge and Perisher's Nordic Shelter is only 200m from your doorstep.

In Off Season: we are in a great location for exploring the Snowy Mountains with plenty of great walking and mountain biking trails nearby.

Perisher Valley

Perisher Valley Village Map

We think we have the best location in Perisher Valley. Here's why....

  • We are located on snow in the heart of Perisher Valley but in a quiet bush backed setting.
  • We are set on the side of a hill. It's a simple downhill warm up run to the foot bridge granting you access to Perisher's 4 interlinking resorts; Perisher, Smiggin Holes, Guthega and Blue Cow.
  • We have stunning panoramic views across Perisher Resort and to North Perisher and beyond from our common guest spaces.
  • We're really close to Perisher's Nordic Shelter and the marked cross country and snow shoe trails.
  • We're the last lodge on our road so this makes for a very private, quiet location.
  • The thunder of the snowmakers is a distant hum, seldom heard inside our lodge.
  • We are licensed and waiter serve drinks to in-house guests but if you are looking for a little more pub-like action then we are only a few hundred meters from the Man from Snowy River and other bars.
  • We enjoy the most amazing sunsets and the Front Valley Fireworks can be viewed from inside the comfort of the lodge.
  • The Perisher Centre Village with shops and food outlets is a ten minute walk.

Kosciuszko National Park

Snowgums in our back yard, Valhalla Perisher, Kosciuszko National Park

Valhalla Lodge is located within Kosciuszko National Park, the largest National Park in NSW. It covers over 670,000 hectares. Kosciuszko National Park abounds in natural beauty containing the famous Snow River, the NSW ski fields, spectacular caves and gorges and the highest mountain on the Australian mainland.

There are nine wilderness areas and the alpine and sub-alpine areas have plant species that found nowhere else in the world. Kosciuszko is home to the rare mountain pygmy possum and corroboree frog. Listed as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the Kosciuszko National Park is internationally recognised for its significant natural heritage.

Park entry fees are applicable to all park visitors but are in included in your SkiTube tariff for winter visitors.
