Our region, The Snowy Mountains, is a pristine, cool climate area, perfect for roasting coffee, growing crisp apples, cool climate grapes and much much more. In fact Tumbarumba which is located in the western edge of the Snowy Mountains, is recognised as one of Australia's premium cool climate wine regions. We try to support our local producers wherever possible in our food and wine experience

Jindabyne Brewing is a family owned local business with a stellar range of craft beers.
Koscisuzko Brewing Company Brewed for enjoyment after a hard day of skiing, hiking, fishing or just relaxing in the mountains, it’s an ale that is always in season.
Tumut River Brewing Co a local snowy regional brewery creating award winning beers.
Lychee Gold Cider, a new taste sensation made in the cool climate wine area of the Murrumbateman, just outside of Canberra.
The Apple Thief Cider created from freshly crushed Batlow apples, the Apple Thief contains no artificial flavours or concentrates.
Brunelli's United Coffee, a 100% Australian owned, Snowy Mountains family business. Brunelli's store and roast beans from all around the world at their beautiful property in Taylor Bay in the Snowy Mountains. They also have two coffee shops in the Perisher Centre, open during ski season.
Snowy Mountains Cookies is an Australian family business operating in Jindabyne from what is arguably Australia’s highest bake house, at 1020m above sea level. Snowy Mountains Cookies are a delicious high end brand using only premium ingredients without artificial colours, flavours, additives or preservatives.
Valhalla Lodge is located in a remote location with extreme weather conditions. We serve a set menu. At least 2 weeks notice is required to cater for food allergies or special dietary requirements. ANY food allergies must be advised PRIOR to arrival. A catering surcharge wil apply for unusual non-medical special dietary requirements.

Served in the Dining Room at 7pm. A three-course set dinner cooked by your in house gourmet chef, Jennifer, and served by our fabulous staff.
Entree, main, dessert. Our menu is placed on the board each morning, if you have an issue, please speak with our chef so an alternative can be arranged.

FRESH NEW MENU
Hot and cold breakfasts options, juice, water, tea, plunger coffee and condiments served direct from our kitchen from 7:30am - 8:30am.
Hit the runs early with our "Rollercoaster" specialty coffee from Perisher local, Brunelli's.
Hot chocolates and specialty coffees are available at an additional cost.
CHEF'S CHOICE PRE-DINNER SNACKS
In place of our traditional cheese platter, we are now serving individual plates of delicious après snacks from 5:30pm. It's the perfect way to unwind after a busy day in the Snowy Mountains.

Kids 11 years and under are served a kid friendly 2 course set meal including a yummy child friendly main and dessert.
Older kids can opt for the kids dinner by prior arrangement and younger kids can opt for the 7pm adult dinner by prior arrangement.

For summer season holidays (out of ski season) we include delicious packed lunches in easy to carry cooler bags.
For corporate escapes and other celebration weekends we will include a conference lunch or similar.
Note lunch is only available for summer season bookings. Our kitchen is closed for lunches in winter season.
As we are in a remote location, we will provide a tasty morning tea snack suitable for your day's adventure.

We're a licensed venue and stock a great selection of local and imported wines, craft beers, ciders and more. Try one of our NEW regional tasting floats or a yummy warm Viking mead.
Our lodge is family friendly so there is no noisy public bar, instead we waiter serve drinks to you in our lounge and dining rooms.
Our drinks list has been carefully selected but if there is something particular you like to drink, please contact us and we will do our best to stock it for your stay.
A selection of tea, water and plunger coffee is served complimentary from the kitchen.
