Stand on the summit of Mt Kosciuszko. Walk through spectacular valleys and fields of wildflowers. Discover alpine lakes, cascading waterfalls. See never ending landscapes, striking rock formations. Walk among the snow gums & sub alpine areas abundant with native wildlife. Listen to bird songs and look for trout in pristine alpine creeks. Snowshoe in late Autumn or early Spring.
Book in a local experienced guide who will help you safely navigate our unique environment. You guide is an endless source of knowledge and will at times take you off the beaten track to see things that you would have otherwise missed. Alternatively you can opt for a self guided adventure.

This is a beautiful walk that starts close to our lodge and wanders across Rock Creek, through open grasslands and snow gum forest to Porcupine Rocks, a large group of granite rocks on the ridge. It's a beautiful spot to stop for a picnic lunch overlooking the valleys below. The views are magnificent. In winter this trail is great for a snow shoe adventure.
5km return, 2 - 3hours
From Guthega this amazing alpine trail will have you walking along side the Snowy River, through snow gums and alpine heath. Take a dip in the cool clear water and enjoy a picnic lunch among the wildflowers. View the Illawong Hut, the oldest building still standing in the park. Look for birds and wildlife. This walk is inaccessible to walkers in winter.
A great short walk from Sawpit Creek down to the picturesque Thredbo River. This walk is combinable with other short walks to make a full day adventure. You'll pass Sawpit Falls, walk through eucalpyt forest, cross over creeks and down into the valley floor, abundant with wildlife. Relax by the river with a picnic before returning to the top with pre-organised transport. Guided walking tour available.
