It's part of the beauty of staying on snow with us at Valhalla. After a good nights rest and a hearty hot breakfast, ease into your day with a short downhill warm up ski. Our Manager claims it's one of his favourite runs! After an action packed day, come back with included late afternoon oversnow transfer. Too easy. If you can't ski out due to ability or conditions, it's a 10 minute walk or you can opt to take an oversnow taxi at own expense.
In less than a 2 minute downhill ski you can be at the Perisher Centre Footbridge with access to Perisher's 4 interlinking resorts, Front Valley lifts, skitube, ski school and crèche.
Our closest resort is Perisher. Blue Cow can be accessed by skiing across the resort or skitube (free), Smiggin Holes can be accessed by skiing across the resort or free shuttle, Guthega is accessible by skiing across the resort from Blue Cow
Ski out in the morning and then come back each afternoon the fun way, with minimum fuss at the time that suits you between 3:30pm - 5:30pm.
Ski out, walk or take an oversnow. Note: Arrival and departure oversnow transfers are included in your tariff. Shuttle services operate outside the Skitube Terminal. Ask our lodge staff for details.
Ski out or walk, it's 200m from our lodge to the Sverre Kaaten Nordic Shelter.
Ski out or walk, marked cross country tracks and snow shoe trails are right behind our lodge.
The fun doesn't need to end when the lifts close. Our lodge is in the perfect position for your extra on snow Perisher play.
Our lodge features the most stunning panoramic views across Perisher Resort and beyond. The sunsets are particularly spectacular and the Front Valley fireworks can be viewed in comfort from inside our lodge.
We're the last lodge on our road so it's a very quiet on snow Perisher location. Loads of space and fresh mountain air. No thunderous noise of the snowmakers here.
The Perisher Centre with shops and food outlets is a 2 minute ski or ten minute walk. Hans Oversnow can provide transport if required at own expense. We are licensed but if you are looking for a little more pub-like action we're only 400m to the Man From Snowy River Bar.
Kosciuszko is the largest National Park in NSW covering over 670,000 hectares. It's home to the famous Snowy River, the NSW ski fields, spectacular caves and gorges and the highest mountain on the Australian mainland.
